Project “D-HELP HR” is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 and is financed by European Union funds through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
About the project
The D-HELP HR project is focused on reducing vulnerabilities in humanitarian supply chains in the Republic of Croatia through digital transformation. Its aim is to increase system resilience in crisis situations by means of scientific research, cross-sectoral cooperation, and open science. Planned activities include regular team meetings, the development of a project website, and the procurement of research equipment. Cooperation with state administration bodies, public sector institutions, and business entities will be established through stakeholder mapping in humanitarian supply chains, joint meetings, and collaborative activities. The research component includes both qualitative and quantitative methods (in-depth interviews, survey questionnaires, data analysis, and triangulation of research results), as well as the publication of findings in reputable scientific journals. Special attention is given to open science and the sharing of research data, which contributes to the credibility of the research and has a strong impact on global processes in humanitarian supply chains. Open access to scientific publications and digital databases enables the sharing of knowledge and best practices with the international community and fosters the development of more efficient, interoperable, and resilient humanitarian supply chain models worldwide. In this way, the D-HELP HR project not only addresses national challenges but also actively contributes to the improvement of global standards in humanitarian crisis response. Dissemination of results includes participation in scientific and professional conferences as well as international academic exchange. The project will also be promoted through the media and public events, bringing it closer to the wider public.
